Sony DSC-H1 digital zoom camera

Earlier this spring I was looking at the Canon S2-IS
digital camera, but I wound up buying a Sony DSC-H1.

These two cameras both have 12x zoom and are
said to be SRL-like point and shoot digital cameras,
along with the Panasonic DMC-FZ20.

The affordable price was a major factor for going
with the Sony and its wide screen viewer is extra
large. The Sony cost about $350 compared to $500
for the other two.

You can view some pics from my flower
beds and cover crops at this stite.

[But the buckwheat pic was a Canon A70.]

I sometimes get more reliable 12x macro zoom standing
6-8 feet away with the Sony than I can a couple inches
away from the subject. I still haven't figured out how to
use the advanced features, so I just use Automatic
with Macro turned on most of the time.

I'm happy to have this Sony but I'm sure the Canon
and Panasonic would be just as good. The Sony
is slow between shots and blue flowers can be off hue.

So my next question is do you have any suggestions
for digital watermarking or automatic insertion of
photo credit with copyright date.... without opening
Photoshop and manually inserting text? I plan to weave
these into web-based gardening articles and photo galleries.
