I was saddened to learn of Jim Wilson's death yesterday. He was a great garden communicator and a great friend to all gardeners and garden writers. He will be missed. What a guy.
I remember once having missed the San Diego Zoo tour as he and I had to do something or another instead for Plant A Row. So, we went on our own. Just sitting there with him in that train was such an experience. People would hear his voice and know who he was and everyone of them had something nice to say about how he impacted their garden activities.
Teaming with microbes,
Jeff L
