Hi all, 

In case anyone wants to come to Jim Wilson's memorial:

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 16, 2010 at
Broadway Christian Church, Columbia, Missouri.  Gardening friends are
especially invited to bring their own garden favorites in lieu of
traditional displays.

The family suggests donations to Plant-A-Row for the Hungry, Garden Writers
Foundation, 10210 Leatherleaf Court, Manassas, VA 20111 (or
www.gardenwriters.org); or the Rothenberger/Wilson Missouri Master Gardener
Endowment Fund, c/o Darcy Wells, 2-4 Agriculture Bldg, U. of MO, Columbia MO
65211, (573) 882-9003..

There will also be a memorial of some sort at the Symposium in Dallas.

In the mean time, I am compiling a book of tributes to give to Jim's partner
Janie Mandel and his two sons after I deliver a eulogy at the memorial, so
if anyone has memories, stories, or photos they want to share about Jim,
please contact me off-list by next Wednesday the 11th.  Thanks.
