Hi all, 

I¹m in the process of writing Jim Wilson¹s obituary for the Quill & Trowel.
Since this will be the first Q&T online, there are  no delays for printing
and mailing?and the obit is a past-deadline addition (another advantage to
online?no page limit with weight issues for postage).

Janie asked me to give a eulogy at the memorial  what an honor!  Needless
to say, Janie welcomes anyone who can make it.
³Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, August 16, 2010 at
Broadway Christian Church, Columbia, Missouri.  Gardening friends are
especially invited to bring their own garden favorites in lieu of
traditional displays.  A luncheon will follow.²

I¹m putting together a book of reflections and memories of Jim ?making 3
copies, one or Janie, and one for each of Jim¹s sons.  I¹ve received a lot
of emails and email tree I started, and obviously a lot of you have shared
memories here. I hope you all wouldn¹t mind if I copy your words ?with
attributions, of course? into these books. Thank you in advance?feel free to
contact me off-list or on-list?by Wednesday the 10th.

What a special and beloved man Jim was, and how lucky we all were to have
him in our lives.
