Hi Carolyn,
It's not the viburnum leaf beetle - no antenna and different color. I found
some in the bird bath so I might be able to get a photograph. It is now
stripping the asters - eats all the leaf and leaves a skeleton.
Anything that could kill off bishops weed is to be feared.
