Catriona Tudor Erler asked about tracking the number of flower arranging
organizations, etc.

The National Garden Clubs federation reaches nationwide and is
responsible for judging and creating juried flower shows.  As a former
member of a Texas chapter, I can tell you these are ladies who are the heart
and soul of flower shows.  It wasn't my thing, but I admire their dedication
and ambition.  You can get more information by contacting a local

garden club chapter in your area or by going to the national web site at:
http://www.gardenclub.org/

I think you live in Virginia? If you do, contact Pat Brewster, who is a past
president of the Virginia Garden Clubs.  You can get her phone number from
the local council in Richmond.  She will have a wealth of information for
you.
