I am doing research on Victory Gardens for an article I want to write. Has 
anyone here ever planted a Victory Garden and if so what did you plant? Are 
you still growing it today? If you grew one did it accomplish what it was 
meant to-making the average citizen feel very patriotic by doing their part 
for the cause? If you were called to action today to plant a victory garden 
to show support would you? And what would you plant? Some folks are 
suggesting  red, white and blue container gardens, not so much a vegetable 
garden as in WWII.
Thanks for all of your help. Information on the web is very limited. I'm 
heading to the local library tomorrow to see what I can find.
