Re: [GWL]: Victory Gardens
Georgiana,
I wrote an article on Victory Gardens and found an old book, The New Garden
Encyclopedia (Ed.) E.L.D. Seymour, New York: Wm. H. Wise & Co., 1945 which
had a special supplement for Victory Gardens. I used the book for
background and historical materials. In essence I suggested that Plant A Row
for the Hungry was the new Victory Garden for today. If you want a copy of
my article, write to me off this list and I will send an attachment.
