That's the value of digital.  Though we have thousands of slides, they are
very difficult to maintain, even though we have the latest and greatest
slide cabinets.  Multiple images means dupes which equates lots of $.

On the other hand once you take a digital (my Olympus e-10 can do up to 4
megapixel at 2240x1680) all you have to do is to drag and drop into as many
different folders as you like.  You are only limited by the size of your
hard drive and for under $200 40 gbites is not uncommon.  Make folders you
think you need then drop the images in there.  If you think of a new folder
later, you can simply make a new folder using Explorer on your Windows and
then  you can pull from here and there to fill it up.  If you still use
slides you can always make slides of your digital for a specific talk --
about a $1.50 apiece.
