This tool is so marvelous: I developed serious wrist injury several years
ago, which almost put a stop to writing and gardening (meaning essentially
that life as I knew it seemed to be over). The ho-mi digger replaced the
trowel in the garden and the ergonomic keyboard replaced the standard one
and I was able to continue my two essential activities with the help of some
physio.

The injury (which actually came from working on the computer and sanding and
painting a beadboard porch ceiling) still took a year to get better, but
these two tool changes were a godsend. When using a trowel you have to twist
your wrist - after planting a couple of flats of impatiens, or 120 annual
fountain grasses, you notice the strain. With the ho-mi digger, you simply
make a couple of up-and-down motions pulling it towards you, and you've got
your planting hole. It's a whole lot quicker than a trowel too.

As for the computer keyboard, the minute I have to type on the standard
kind, my wrist starts to burn. I can't understand why the erognomic
keyboards have not become the standard.
