Re: [GWL]: New Garden Globe Awards


I don't know the answer to this question, and in fact suggested a similar 
approach. It seemed to me that if the trade and multimedia entries were 
handled that way, as they were then, the others could be, too. But GWAA (in 
the form of our dear BL) insisted the rest have to be done at one time, on 
site to insure all judges and entries have the same instructions and fair 
treatment. Like so many of my 'But why?' questions, this one got a 
bureaucratic 'no'.
Anybody from more recent awards committees have a better answer?
