Re: RSS feeds yet again.

But expect to see RSS pop up in more and more places. I've toyed with
the idea of making my mailing lists send the subjects as RSS streams.
Then I could see all of the latest subjects scrolling across the bottom
of my screen without having to go read them all. If one looks
interesting, I can go open up my email and read it in more detail.

Great Chris - I had forgotten that you're a resident expert !!!! Just fyi - I am getting one forum now on RSS feed - it saves me from having to go to the forum to see if there's anything of interest. I can quickly scroll down the feed on my desktop to see anything of interest (or not). I don't know if it interests others but for me, it is a major time saver and I really like it. As you said, "expect to see rss pop up in more and more places." I would take any of my forums on rss feed - a selling point now.

I don't have it set to "push" onto my desktop - don't think I'd want that - but I can quickly check by clicking/activating the icon and scrolling. I like the control feature rather than having it push to me.

thanks for jumping in and if you find any great feeds - let us know (or when you do yours - let us know) (grin)
