Online POD Photos and Art

I am always taken with anything that is print-on-demand (POD) and the 
current bubble is www.RedBubble.com. RedBubble lets you post and sell photos 
and other images, and more. There's a lot of chatting and commenting within 
the site and participating in this is a way to be seen. I've had fun 
communicating with talented artists in South America, Australia, and the 
USA.

I have used RedBubble to buy triple-thick notecards and a mounted print made 
with my images. They were reasonably priced and very well produced. I have 
actually sold some cards (to my sister it turned out) and a large mounted 
print to a total stranger in Australia. The site uses PayPal and some other 
means. I had a couple of 2008 calendars made and they should arrive any day 
now.

It is a worldwide site based in Australia and has been great but I am 
lonesome for my fellow garden writers and photographers. Won't some of you 
join me?  It is free and there is no usage limit.

The top artists on the site (who are excellent) seem to be selling a lot. 
However there is a risk of web-sized images being swiped -- fortunately they 
are not large enough for good printing. Also there's a distinct lack of 
scientific nomenclature even on some of the best images.

The site would be more fun for me if I could find some of you there online! 
And the nomenclature would be better too.
