Re: Setting fees, Preparation

I still use slides for my presentations.
I first come up with a title and an outline and description of the
presentation I want to give. Once that is in place I begin the process of
selecting slide to match up with the content of the presentation. Usually
takes about a week to come up with 65 to 70 slides, working about 4 to 5
hours a day. Once all is in place in a tray they go up on the screen for an
editing. More selecting goes on until the slides are exactly as I want them.
Another day or two... I like to keep some time in between editing periods so
I can come back "fresh". Once the slide please me then a hand out has to be
made up... a draft went on by pen while selecting the slides. Once entered
and edited the handout is on file for print out. Another day. (I am very
slow on typing). Title, description, and a slide or two go on my web site
and I cross my fingers that someone else likes what I have come up with.
Behind this is the time to take the slides, then behind that the time to
garden and grow the plants to photograph.
