Re: Spam on Blogs


jems - that sounds as if you're visiting a blog to post a note about your
own magazine entries. (maybe I'm not understanding what you're saying)   My
sense is that good comments add to the blog topic and conversation in the
post.    I guess it may depend on how you work that info into the comments.
:-) I know I welcome comments by folks who have something to add to the
conversation but I tend to edit out self-serving links if they don't relate
or help my readers.
I'll leave it to the rest of the more-experienced bloggers here to chime in
on how they view publicity comments on a blog.   What do you guys do?
