Publishing for Amazon's Kindle

Announcement!

After some tech stress I got my files straight and published one of my 
garden titles on Amazon's Kindle. It is "Creating and Planting Alpine 
Gardens" by Rex Murfitt (he won a GWA writing award for it in 2006) and for 
now it seems to be the only rock gardening book available in the Kindle 
format. I'm  planning to put other books into Kindle mode too, if this goes 
well.

You have probably heard that there is a free software version of Kindle that 
runs on a PC or iPhone and certain iPods instead of as a dedicated device.

I'm happy that at last I got this Kindle version of the alpine book up and 
running, but I couldn't figure out how to include its illustrations so I am 
putting many of them up on my website.
