Grenada is known as the "Spice of the Caribbean" for the abundance of spices
that grow on the island but most travelers don?t realize that it is also a
true garden lover?s paradise. The rich volcanic soil and tropical
environment make Grenada home to some of the most breathtaking flora and
fauna in the Caribbean. 

That?s why the Grenada Board of Tourism is pleased to invite nature lovers
of all types to discover the gardens of Grenada. 

The tour will be led by Master Gardener, Donna Dawson. As the
owner/publisher of the Internet website, Donna Dawson has received many
awards and has been recognized in numerous publications. Since 1996,
ICanGarden.com has grown to become Canada's largest Internet gardening
resource site visited by thousands of gardeners daily from more than 65
countries. 

Taking place from March 21st - 25th, 2010, the tour will include airfare,
accommodations, ground transportation and delicious meals at some of
Grenada?s finest restaurants and a wealth of activities including: 

?	Garden Tours - Guided tours of some of Grenada?s most scenic gardens
such as Bay Gardens, Laura Herb & Spice Garden, Hyde Park Garden, Sunnyside
Garden, Mount Edgecombe Plantation, Balthazar Estate, St. Rose Nursery and
Gem Rose Eden. 

?	Island tour - A full-day tour that includes stops at Grand Etang
National Forest, Dougaldston Spice Estate, Grenada Chocolate Factory, River
Antoine Rum Distillery, St. George?s - - Grenada?s picturesque capital city,
historic forts and landmarks. 

?	Beach Day - Soak up the sun or spend the day enjoying water sports
on Grenada?s famous two mile stretch of sand, Grand Anse Beach.
