Re: GWA Award Musings (NOT from Graham Rice)
I've always wanted to know why I as a non-staff writer for a weekly
newspaper have to compete against a staff writer for a large daily in the same
category? I've never really gotten a straight answer and obviously there's
never been a category change. How can anyone expect me to be able to muster
the same degree of research and support that a large daily staff writer
(to say nothing of the clout) can come up with? One of the other never
ending mysteries of the GWAA.
