I've had so much trouble w/Crotons and spidermites in the past that I
have to admit I didn't bring Mamey home with me. Your humidity trays
may help keep the plant pest-free but in my experience Crotons are pest
magnets. Did you try the Stromanthes? It's another very unusual,
colorful tropical they were giving out and brand spanking new. Mine's
doing very well and I know Denny Schrock is growing it, too.
