RE: [GWL]: Can we develop a database of Garden Magazines?

Hi Lon...what Chris has on his site is really a basic listing of the
magazines, and it will continue to grow this way..all of it on this one
page - at least it looks that way now.

What we were thinking about is putting it together in such a way as to make
it a data base driven backend so that it could be kept current by the
members or a designated administrator.  It would also be searchable on any
number of fields.  It might also be useful if there was a section where
garden writers could post their comments about their dealings with the
various publications thereby helping new writers in the submission
process...that kind of thing.

If all the members are just looking at is a listing of what magazines are
out there...then what Chris has would work very well for them.

    Since Chris Lindsey already has a site and some data collected, how
would it be if you were to work with him.  You could gather the information
and send it to Chris in a form he could easily post on the website he has
available.
    And once the site is ready, I can add the URL to the footer for the GWL
messages so it would show up on all posted letters.
