Re: [GWL]: Copyright of edited versions?


As an editor, I would never dream of calling someone's edited work my
own. The edited version is always basically the author's creation; what
the editor has done is just to finesse it. Calling it a new work is like
saying that the person who heats up the food in the microwave is the
cook.
