Website as a marketing tool

Hello all:

The following will build a successful site. You must have a successful site if it is to be an effective marketing tool. Pick and choose to meet your site's requirements for your individual business. Only submit your web site to search engines yourself, on an individual basis.
Bruce has made a great start at the things you need to do to build a good author site. And having interviewed the owner of his company for an article, I can attest to the dedication of both Bruce and his company in doing this and profiting from the Net.

I too have done the author site bit - selling books, writing newsletters, owning web optimization (webgold) and submission software. Been there and got that t-shirt ( I actually do have a t-shirt from one of the registration companies) :-)) on the net author-site learning curve.

Fortunately, I managed to parlay some of that curve into articles for trade magazines to offset the cost of teaching myself all this Net "stuff". I've gone through several "systems" and content-delivery models and software (webseed.com/gardenbrew.com/gardeningonthe.net) to figure this stuff out.

Quite frankly, I have been experimenting with making money on the Net for a few years now and while I really can't tell you how to succeed for sure, (I have still lots to learn and work to do myself) :-) I can tell you how to make a shortcut to handle all the stuff that Bruce describes.

One of the pioneers of web marketing is a Montreal physician turned entrepreneur that I have a tremendous amount of respect for. I confess I've purchased all of Dr. Ken Evoy's net-marketing products and am using them now on a regular basis. For example, he's published a manual on how to sell e-books over the Net that is the best (and most complete) step-by-step directions I've yet found. You can see this "Make My Knowledge Sell" manual at http://myks.sitesell.com/review.html

The most important one however is a content delivery system called Site-Sell. http://buildit.sitesell.com/review.html

I'm currently happily using it to build and deliver a new site (www.gardening-tips-perennials.com) and it is the best software on the market for this purpose. Let me simply say that after 2 months of intermittent page building, I have 5 pages ranked #1 on google and others on the way. (part of the software gives you reports on the status of your pages on all the search engines) My traffic is increasing daily and the newsletter I'm publishing is growing faster than any other system I've ever used.

The important thing is that sitesell does all the content evaluation and submission work, tracks it, and all I have to do is provide content. I don't have to know html, coding, or anything techie that Bruce describes so well. *The system does it all for me!*

Rather than me describe it all in a lengthy note, if you are interested, simply click on one of the links above and make your own decision.
