Re: Hofstra Flower Show and Questions

Melanie Vassallo asked:
I'm brand new at this but would love to come join in the fun, does anybody know what the schedule is? Also, we're hoping to install the board game garden onto our front lawn after the flower show and I'd be glad to show it to any interested parties. Are open gardens in the convention area listed?

The GWL listserv will have a get together on Friday--the first day of the symposium, and we'd love for you to join us.  Details will be announced in June.  As far as the schedule for the symposium, they are still putting it together.  Check the www.gwaa.org site periodically, as the schedule will be posted.  Your children's garden sounds fantastic--photo opportunities come to mind.  Contact e*@gwaa.org (Bob LaGasse) to offer your garden for touring.  If it does not make the symposium tour, let all of us know on the listserv.  Some of us come a day early to the symposium to see local sites.  You might set up a time for GWA members to see your garden on their own.

I'm passing along your plea for PAR displays to the regional director.  She will contact you directly.  Thanks for sharing.
