Re: Out of Focus


I noticed this phenomenon a few years ago in cooking magazines. 
Everything would be out of focus except for some little corner of the 
image. I took it as deliberate, and yes, I was not impressed.

In my neighborhood on the south side of Chicago, there's a Very Popular 
cafeteria with the motto "See your food." I think that should apply to 
cooking magazines as well.
