As do I. After all, we were all new writers at one time, and probably
most of us had other writers who mentored and encouraged us. Being a
firm believer in paying it forward, I teach writing workshops, mentor
and encourage new writers trying to get going in the world of
freelancing.
Something about this particular person, however, doesn't come across
as a 'real' writer but set off my spider sense. But maybe because I
just had a go-round with a student who was plagiarizing, I'm feeling
somewhat suspicious and cranky. Maybe the wind blew my Pollyanna
bonnet off.
cheers, jodi
