Re: Website software

Hi,

I have been slow to adopt any of this; primarily because I've been too busy
to spend the time it takes to do a proper job. So I don't have a website and
I haven't considered blogging.

But...things are slowing down in both the book world and the hypnotherapy
world (my other income-producing activity), so I'm finally getting around to
the website. I might get around to blogging sometime in 2012.... ;-)

After talking with a number of people, I decided it was better to go ahead
and learn HTML and CSS, and that's what I have been doing for about a week
now. It's slow going, especially for an old dog like me. But in the end, I
think it will serve me better because I'll be able to design as I wish to
do. I am concentrating on the Hypnotherapy site first, because that's the
area of my income that most needs a boost right now, but eventually, I'll
get to a writing/editing site, and after that, an Emei Qigong site (the
third spoke of my wheel).

The web is an excellent resource for all things related to learning how to
do whatever you want to do. Simply google what you want to be able to do and
you'll come up with a bunch of sites with great tutorials. As is so sadly
true in other areas these days, there is no need to buy a book. You can get
it all on-line.

Best,

Miranda
