Re: Author Earnings


Here's where I disagree with Betty or her sources about Facebook - I have
22 ebooks currently running (I no longer count the 8 print books)  If I had
a FB page for every one of those, I'd be trying like crazy to maintain
them. Too much work for no return.  I have one author "page" that is quite
separate from any personal feed/timeline account.  I get readers to that
single author page and then I can bring all my books to their attention in
one spot and set up any number of posts/images/links to my content etc
without showing them my grandkid pics. :Publishers want authors to have
individual book pages  - it's to their advantage to have individual book
pages the authors maintain (at no cost to the publisher I note)  It is not
to the advantage of the writer to maintain multiple pages for different
books. Time sucker alert!   If you only plan on writing one book in your
life - go ahead.  Otherwise...
