Hmmm.... Olives are grown commercially in Lindsay, California (home 
of the Lindsay olive company) and I would bet that when they prune 
their trees, they have a ton of wood  leftover.  When they prune and 
how to get the wood to Detroit is a different issue, but I suggest 
contacting the company directly, 800 252 3557, www.lindsayolives.com.

I'd love to know if/how this works out...
