I'd say a decrease in perennial sales by individual wholesalers is likely to 
be a function of the increased number of perennial wholesale growers.  There 
are still new start-ups and new programs by growers of other crops.  Seminar 
committees keep calling for speakers on What's New In Perennials, and those 
sessions keep filling the seats.
Larger pie, but smaller slices shared by many more fingers.  Same old story: 
Money draws a crowd.
