Many years ago, we used Harvard Graphics at work. They had a wonderful
"upgrade" that we didn't purchase that made map work EASY. This was aimed
toward real-time presentations rather than toward JPEG outputs, etc., back
then. But, like I said, this was many years ago.
You might want to check into the current capabilities of Harvard Graphics,
Jeff. It was an excellent tool (we had the pre-map wonder version) that was
extremely easy to use (easier than PowerPoint, in my humble opinion). And we
used it to produce graphic files for presentations (as in, sales
presentations via viewgraphs). Since it's been many years... Harvard Graphics
may support these capabilities. Their sales personnel were wonderful back
then.
