Re: [GWL]: A New Rant

There are more possible convolutions in this thread than a patch of morning
glories.  I'm sitting here thinking of times I wrote about a situation or
condition and qualified it with exceptions or possible ways it MIGHT be
altered, just to have those qualifications clipped off by an editor pressed
for space, or who just felt the exceptions/qualifications didn't matter.  
    What it seems to come down to is that each of us, as writers, must get
as many of the facts as we can for ourselves, not rely on second hand
information, and not let anything get changed in the publication process. 
Sounds easy, doesn't it.  Like walking barefoot on broken glass while
carrying a troop of battling chimpanzees while being sprayed with ice water,
skunk oil, and turpentine, avoiding pits full of vipers along the path. 
With the prize being a high colonic of vinegar and hot coffee.
