One of the nicest functions of the GWAA membership directory is the listing 
by state and province of members (in an index).  I routinely contact other 
members (even those I don't know at all) when I visit their location.  I 
ask for advice, gardens to visit etc.etc.

I've *never* been refused advice and am routinely invited to coffee, dinner 
etc.  GWAA members are among the friendliest people I've ever met. Get out 
the directory and contact all those Texas members.

sweltering Texas - from the Oilers to the Longhorns?
