"Malmaison" in the Parisian suburb of Bougival, is an
easy one...Josephine Bonaparte had Pierre Joseph
Redouté employed there to paint her collection of rose
specimens.

When I was there several years ago, in the fall, the
gardens featured large pokeweed plants as their
'exotic American' specimens. What a hoot!
