Re: green roofs
The Malletts Creek library branch of the Ann Arbor
District Library had a green roof installed in
October, 2003. It uses the German, layering method and
is working just fine four-plus years later. I was
lucky enough to be on the roof when they installed the
medium and then, two weeks later, when the plant plugs
(many varieties of sedum) went in.
