Re: question about blogs

I try to update my blog twice a week. The ideas for what I'll write come from everyday life, in and out of the garden, so that isn't time consuming. Finding a photograph, where appropriate, and writing the posts takes about half an hour to forty minutes. Then another five minutes to correct the mistakes I didn't see when I proofread my post the first three times.

I try to check in with the blogs I have listed on my blog at least once a week - I have them listed because I like them, after all, and I want to see what folks are up to. An hour a week is spent doing this, tops. I probably spend thirty minutes to an hour poking around the web every day - other website, googling items of interest, discovering new blogs - usually done at night with Rachael Maddow on the television as background.

No, the Health Department won't be concerned that dirty dishes are piling up while I blog...I listen to NPR while I'm cooking and cleaning up the kitchen.
