Re: spam link up-tick


On WordPress blogs, you can adjust your settings so that anyone who has
never commented before is moderated. This has enabled me to prevent these
human spammers from actually showing up on my site, and I determine if they
are spamming or truly commenting at my leisure. And when I decide they are
genuine, it gives me the opportunity to welcome them.

I don't know if other blogging software has this option, but it is worth
exploring as a way to keep on top of the human spammers.
