GWA Education Workshop
A while back somone asked what GWA is doing for members in these changing times. On March 1, the day before the Region II meeting, GWA will give you a choice between the dead and the quick. When you sign up for the meeting, there’s a lovely invitation to the Laurel Hill Cemetery as an optional pre-meeting event. But that’s not all. You could also choose a GWA-sponsored writing workshop in the Philadelphia Inquirer building on that same day. Unfortunately, that nifty bit of info is buried deeper than the occupants of the cemetery. At www.gardenwriters.org go to either What’s New, or tab Meetings and then tab down to Workshops to find out more. You don’t have to be a GWA member to attend. I know, because I’m conducting the workshop. I’ve loaded it with practical heavy-duty information. It’s for sharpening skills and picking up new tools—even more satisfying than taking a bastard file to a dull spade.
