Re: school gardens


This article popped up in my Google Alerts a couple of weeks ago and,
like everyone else here, I was furious at the broad-brush assumptions and
conclusions the author made about gardening, school gardens, schools,
immigrants, various ethnic groups, etc.

I'm guessing that her story is a lack of critical thinking skills and/or
the simple desire to make a big name for herself by developing a persona
that focuses on controversy. She isn't the first and won't be the last.
