Re: helping landscapers become plant people
I've contended for years that landscape architects have a list of
about 12 plants they use over and over and over again. Most LAs get
only one plant class in their curriculum. Some may have an interest
in plants and take more, but usually only one is required.
I agree that most garden writers have a much better handle on plants
for landscapes in our areas and we are an under used resource.
Perhaps putting together a proposal to give a program on new plants.
