I love this question!  Okay you temperate climate gardeners, next 
time you envy us guys with 364 day a year growing seasons, consider 
this:  We have NO down time.  that's right, NONE.

So for every magazine or book that you put aside for winter, we have 
a year's worth waiting to be read.   I  am so far behind that I have 
resigned myself to NEVER catching up.

It also means we have no planning time, no contemplation time, no 
clean up time (or maybe the best way to say it is that ALL time is 
clean up time), no sitting time....

I'm not looking for pity here, just reality....
