re compost article

All,

I know Lon may be sick of this compost stuff, but I have appreciated
everyone's comments. I always wanted a portable bin. Not any more.

I think the key for Garden Writers when we write about compost is to tell
our audience to make sure the finished product IS COMPOST and it seems like
a lot of these tumblers have an end product that is only "almost compost".
There is danger here for our readers.....e coli if manures were used, even
just as an innoculant, and sallamellla (sp?). These tumblers sound like they
make it too easy for the compost to go anerobic.

Would you send me the finished article OR post it. As a fellow columnist, I
would love to see what you do with this one!

Cheers,

Jeff
