The Bohemian Class has always struggled to stay afloat. That's its job -- to 
be different, to swim against the current -- and it's a volunteer position. 
In other words, don't go along to get along. Refuse to write at 6th-grade 
level. Don't hesitate to stretch your reader's (or your editor's) vocabulary once 
in a while.
