Re: sponsorship
I agree with Miranda. I had a radio show on small business during
morning drive time on a small radio station here. I wrote the scripts,
produced the show, and got my own sponsor. In this particular case, it
was easy to find the sponsor, but after a year, I needed to find another
one and decided that it was all too much work. I had gotten what I wanted
--- local name recognition and a reputation as an expert.
Prior to the sponsorship, I served as the radio station's PR Director in
exchange for time for my own ads. But to get a Drive Time show, I had to
get a sponsor. Lots of people may say "no." You only need one to say
"yes."

Lois
