 Anybody: Some weeks back, maybe even a couple of months back, there was a link here to a blog where a young gardener refuted the marketing mantra that we must sell gardening as "outdoor decorating." 
She declared quite firmly that she and her (also young) gardening friends call what they do gardening; they're not interested in 'live decor elements' or some such phrase.
