BBC and US gardening

I don't get to watch any of the BBC garden programs, but on PBS, we have Brits and Aussies telling Americans how to garden on Victory Garden. This show is also VERY focused on the East and West coasts, with not even a nod to gardening in the Midwest.

And, while we're at it, I don't know why they just don't take out the "G" in HGTV...there are no new gardening programs on the cable station.
