Re: Grow Bags
Hello,
the grow bags have been around for some time in the nursery industry. the beauty of them is they keep the roots air pruned so when you transplant a tree or shrub it's in good condition instead of being root bound. We've offered a small selection for several years and next year plan to expand. The stitching on these bags used to be white and I was always getting out liquid shoe polish to cover it up. For the sake of having attractive veggie containers I've even rolled the top and tied it with a wide bow of raffia. Inexpensive, looks good, and a good way to to keep gardeners minds moving in the way of attractive containers of food plants. A lot nicer looking than much of what I'm seeing marketed. With a few slits around the sides they make a good strawberry planter.
