Re: Kindle
Sandie
One of my Garden Forum staffers uses an iPod Touch and says that she can use
it for email/web browsing, etc. wherever there's free wi-fi without the
expense of monthly bills. She said it was a lifesaver while her husband was
in the hospital (for close to 4 months) this winter. She would load books
and music onto the thing so that she could have some amusement while in the
ICU waiting room, and could check her email without having to use the
hospital computer. Perhaps it might be an option for you? They seem to be in
the same price range and she said that the print was plenty large enough for
her to read.

Judy,
I just can't afford an iPhone...the monthly service and fees would kill
me...however, the Kindle...or whatever...would allow me to save a whole
lot
of book storage space in my house. I think I'll have a hard enough time
adapting to reading off a screen...the iPhone is just too small for a
starting point...maybe later...
