Cathy,
One of the advantages of voting online is that you only see those who you can vote for!  It's a glass half-full thing.  I'm pleased to not only recommend Ellen Zachos as a Region 1 National Director, but Steve Trusty and Jo Ellen Meyers Sharp for the same position in other regions, plus Sabine Stezenbach for Region 1 director. 

Who am I to campaign for particular candidates? Just a member who has known, and more importantly worked with, these people, and thinks that they are the type of members who will get things done on behalf of others. In my always-striving-to-be-humble opinion. 

Also, I think that far too many GWA people fail to vote because they know nothing about those running. So I'm hoping to give them at least a sense that this member thinks that these candidates are terrific.
