 The surfactant, or djuvant in Roundup, polyoxyethyleneamine or POEA, is what makes it much more toxic for aquatic animals. ShoreClear and Rodeo doesn't have this adjuvant, so it's the better choice if someone is going to use a glyphosate formulation. I always steer people away from Roundup but some are determined and I'd rather they use one of the glyphosate alternatives if they are going to spray. 

 I battle poison ivy with a shovel, boiling water, and occasional vinegar, and other nasties with pulling, mulch, and cutting as well. Fortunately I do not have Bishop's weed on this property.
