Re: Zone maps - GWL
Although Sunset zone maps are considered the gold standard in California and other parts of the West, when Sunset came out with a national map (and book) a few years ago, I didn't think it was useful at all for the areas that I knew well (i.e., east of the Mississippi). Not the same kind of accuracy as for the West, which kind of makes sense, since they're a Western publication. Anyone know anything about why they tried to go national and how they came up with the national map?
